About „IKI Velomarathon“
In 2024, the biggest cycling event in Lithuania will take place for the 15th time!
“IKI Velomarathon” is:
◊ An initiative, based on four values – family, healthy lifestyle, ecology, and road safety. The aim of IKI Velomarathon is to strengthen cycling culture in Lithuania by forming a new and unique tradition;
◊ An event which has attracted a record number of participants in independent Lithuania and has received the Sport event of the year award;
◊ An exceptional marathon route stretching through the very heart of old town and adapted for three different participants groups – children, amateurs, and professionals;
◊ An amazing entertainment and sports program for the whole family;
◊ Ceremonial awards.
The project is partly financed by the Vilnius City Municipality budget.
